Suffolk County Council wants to cut another £230K from the Library Services budget

28 January 2017

Erosion in Suffolk is not confined to the shoreline!

Since 2011, the Libraries Services budget has been cut by over 30%, and we have to stop the rot now.  On Saturday 28th January, local Greens joined forces with Caroline Page, Lib Dem Councillor for Woodbridge, to raise awareness of cuts in funding to the local library. This was an excellent initiative from Caroline, and together we collected 300 signatures in the first couple of hours, just showing the support for the library in the town.
