Jeremy has lived in Kelsale for over 40 years. He worked as an administrator, editor, researcher and project manager at BT Research Labs for 27 years. He then spent 2 years volunteering in Tanzania with his wife and then worked for 10 years as a Countryside Ranger for Suffolk County Council.
In 2005, he and his wife founded a charity which continues to support Tanzanian orphans to get an education. He is a director of Dunwich Greyfriars Trust which looks after the Friary ruins and the small wood adjacent to them. In 2019 he stood as Green candidate for the Kelsale and Yoxford ward of the new East Suffolk District Council and came second.
He is a member of RSPB, Suffolk Wildlife Trust, The Woodland Trust, WWF and Amnesty International.
